Volunteer Opportunity: Support Local Parents in Your Community 

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of families?
Do you have a few hours each week to offer kindness, understanding, and support?

Becoming Families is looking for dedicated volunteers for a three year project to join our team in supporting local parents, many of whom are navigating the challenges of early parenthood.

What You’ll Do:

• Offer a listening ear and emotional support to parents

• Help reduce isolation and build confidence

• Assist with group sessions (training provided) and/or visiting people in their homes

What We’re Looking For:

• Compassionate individuals with good communication skills

• Lived experience of postnatal wellbeing difficulties is an advantage, but not essential

• Ability to commit to regular weekly volunteering
