About the event
A comprehensive 7 week antenatal course starting on the 4th March from 7-9 at the Woodpecker. Please note there will be no session on Tuesday 25th March, therfore the course will end on Tuesday 22nd April.
Covering all you need to know to prepare for labour, birth, early days with your baby and becoming parents. Facilitated by experienced educators, including midwives, perinatal specialists and breastfeeding support workers, this course is for the pregnant person and partner.
Topics covered include:
labour and birth physiology (what happens in labour), coping skills, pain relief, common interventions, making informed choices, birth place choices, postnatal recovery, practical baby care skills, life with a new baby.
