🌱 About Becoming Families

Becoming Families is a small, community-rooted charity dedicated to supporting families in Worcestershire through postnatal wellbeing groups and peer support services. We believe in the power of connection, compassion, and lived experience to nurture mental health and resilience in early parenthood.

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled individual to lead our popular parent/baby groups and postnatal wellbeing support groups. The role also includes working with us to establish further groups in a new area of the County. The successful candidate will deliver groups safely, effectively, and with deep understanding of the challenges faced by families experiencing perinatal emotional wellbeing difficulties.

The Role

  • Facilitation of parent/baby drop-in groups and wellbeing support groups

  • Establishment of additional groups in a new geographical area

  • Working closely with Project Leads and Volunteer Peer Support Coordinator

  • Associated administrative tasks
