Preparing to Breastfeed/Chestfeed

Lay the foundation for a confident feeding journey.

Whether you are preparing for your first baby or looking for a refresher, this workshop is designed to give you and your partner the practical skills and confidence needed for breastfeeding success. Facilitated by an experienced antenatal teacher and breastfeeding support worker, this session provides evidence-based information in a supportive, relaxed environment.

What we cover:

  • Understanding the Basics: Breastfeeding physiology and the health benefits for both mum and baby.

  • Practical Skills: Recognising feeding cues and exploring comfortable breastfeeding positions.

  • Troubleshooting: Myth-busting and tips on how to avoid common issues.

  • Support Systems: How and where to find help when you need it most.

Workshop Details:

  • Time: 7:00pm – 9:00pm

  • Location: The Woodpecker

  • Cost: £40 (includes both the pregnant person and their partner).

  • Special Offer: Discounted rate of £25 when booked as an add-on to our full antenatal or yoga courses.
