Birthlight Pregnancy Yoga aims to enhance women’s comfort during pregnancy and labour and to reduce the need for medical intervention in childbirth with carefully selected and tested adaptations of yoga.
Birthlight Yoga, inspired by Amazonian rainforest midwives and women, has been developed in collaboration with midwives over 20 years. It values the physical and emotional nurturing of pregnant women so that they can approach labour and birth with calm confidence.
I have had the pleasure of participating in pregnancy yoga which was fantastic. I had never tried any form of yoga before. A very relaxed environment where you can get your stretch on and share in the experience of pregnancy.
